This steakhouse is awesome! I used to go to Charlies in Tampa, no more! We tried this place on a whim and it's better. Service here is also amazing . Try the steakhouse mac and cheese with flos filet. Cuts like buttah! Oh yea, we tried lunch as well. Chicken wrap and parmesan chicken were also amazing. Stop in and see what's up

Service was poor. Prime rib was good but not great. Sirloin was over cooked. Ordered a Coke and she brought an almost clear liquid that she said was coke. Took a sip and it was awful...that's when she said they were out of coke but had gone to the gas station to buy more. She brought us another coke 10 minutes later that was completely flat. Then she took my wife's plate before she was done. Still had several bites of steak and French fries on the plate. When we mentioned it to her, she just laughed and ignored the point. She still charged us for the drink. The baked potato and flavored lemonade were great...that's about it. I have been to a different location once before and was happy with the service and meal.

I have been here 2 times, first time it took 3 returns to get my steak correctly cooked. The second was just a few days ago. I ordered French onion soup, cold and very old tasting, my wife and I ordered a salad, mine came out, hers did not, took another 10 minutes for her to get her salad, the waitress was not very experienced and did not pay attention to our table , my steak was cooked at the correct temp but had too much fat that I could not eat it, for a 26 dollar steak it should melt in your mouth not make you feel like your eating a stick of gum. The shrimp appetizer would be the only reason to return. It is a great dish.

Food was excellent, the lamb was a little more cooked than I usually like it but it was great, while my husbands steak was quite bloody for a well cooked steak... Service was D- got the check while we were still eating, took the plates from 2 people while 3 was eating, long wait to take our order when restaurant was empty... Never offered coffee or desert which we were looking forward to and she said : we put it a part will take a while ... If I am planning on spending 100$+ for dinner I want the full experience. It felt rushed... I had a friend over from out of state and we both could not believe it. The worst part is we called to make sure we would not have this predicament as we were coming in at 8:45 and they close at 10. I picked them because I though they would have good service as it's a chain... Not worth it . If I had been with a date or a client for work I would have been ashamed.

If you're in the mood for "good" steak, then it's gotta be Longhorn. Nearly as good, is the Roadhouse at SR54 & I75, but that's a little far. Harold Seltzers is also a close 2nd. This is the very best place for steak. We tried them all, and nothing else compares (Outback is a far distant runner-up). We always split the Porterhouse, and never regret it. Well, almost never. Once in a while, we get a new waiter/waitress, and have to train them. But, that's just part of the fun. When they mess up, we have fun making them aware of what they did - and we're merciless. If you want consistent service always, then eat at/near the bar, where the 'tender services you. Routinely great service from the 'tender. Our family routinely sends us Gift Cards for this place, so we're there a lot. Yeah, it's a little expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Went for a family outing a couple weeks ago. EXCELLENT STEAK!! I got the porterhouse, best I've had. Great servers and staff. Priced kind of high, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

The free bread was very tasty, loved the steak- great smell and taste, salmon and vegetables were pretty good. Was a bit expensive but a good treat. Waitress was very nice. I loved the way they decorated the inside, as always, with the western desert theme.

Pretty busy place tonight-took ten minutes after being seated to get a menu and fifteen more minutes for drinks to arrive. Flo's filet and the sirloin were cooked as ordered and were good but mashed potato was stone cold-server disappeared and we had to hunt up a manager. Table was not bussed during the meal so the table got really crowded. Server brought the check before asking if we wanted dessert. Blueberry-lemon cake was very good. All in all pretty good food but service was poor. Will not rush back.

I decided to give this Longhorn another shot, as we were in the area, and there aren't many other decent restaurants around, that I can see. I was pleasantly surprised with the quick attentive service. I am not sure if they have new management or staff, or what caused this, but I would be happy to return, if this is how they are now.

So I don't normally write negative reviews, but I felt especially inclined to. My fiancé is about to ship out for the military so this was one of our last dinners out. We also happened to be on a double date, celebrating a friends birthday( which when I mentioned it the sever didn't even say happy birthday or offer a dessert or anything )Their hostesses weren't very friendly and when she took us to our table she threw the silverware on the table.. Which wasn't very professional or polite for that matter... But I tried to ignore it. Our server was pleasant but not very attentive or interactive. He was constantly looking around while talking to us which to me, shows he isn't very interested. I ordered a mudslide and got what looked to be a White Russian. I asked if was indeed a mudslide and he said it was. I drank it anyways. The food we all got was outstanding. Probably the best steak I've ever had! But the service was poor. While paying the check, my friend used a darden gift card, which is their company and then paid the rest with a debit.. Well after we left she realized that he never used the gift card and he never gave it back. So we had to all turn around and get that fixed. I would certainly get take from there but probably will not dine in at this location again.

My daughter wanted to go to a steakhouse where they throw the peanuts on the floor. When we arrived I asked the woman who sat us "is this the place where you eat peanuts and throw them on the floor?" She said with a smile, " yes it is." We sat down only to find out it wasn't. We needed to be at Logan's Steak House. We decided to stay. Bad choice. Not worth a lot of explaining because I am still very upset. 1. The waitress started off good, but then it all went downhill. We noticed everytime we order water as our drink, the service decreases. We just don't like coke, etc. I won't drink and drive, so we drink water. My 12 year old daughter ordered a sirloin med/well. It came out bloody. We sent it back...and waited. We stopped eating until she got her food back. Her steak came back puffed up in the middle. I told her to cut into the middle first...BLOOD everwhere. The manager just happen to be walking by, so I got his attention. We sent it back a second time. That was it. We lost the desire to eat there anymore. Finally her steak came back and finally cooked. She, like us, had lost the desire to finish the meal. The waitress (Kymberly) never tried to make things better. At that point she knew we would not be leaving our standard 20-25%. She got NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!! The manager told her to tell us he would comp my daughters meal. He NEVER came to us and said anything...(John Sustr) that was your big mistake. Take care of your customers first. Put out the fire. You didn't care, the waitress didn't care. No one cared until...I stood at the door waiting on the Maitre d' for the managers card. NOW...I become important. Now I am told that he will comp the meal. No I said. We are not like that. All I wanted was to take my family out for a nice meal. You, Kymberly and LongHorn Steakhouse can NEVER give that to us. When I asked for the District Manager's name and number, then the offer was that he would comp the whole meal and include gift cards. It amazes me how important I become when I ask for their boss. Business 101. They don't understand it. I do. So I choose not to partake again.

Oy... this place is such a mixed bag of good and bad, it is confounding to nail down a good or bad review. What is good about dining here is great, and what is bad is very disappointing and annoying. First, what is good: They have a nice porterhouse-for-two special, and they used to serve bottomless liver for lunch, which was a good deal if you like liver. The porterhouse is served with a nice bulb of roasted garlic, and a steak sauce that has sizzling herbs to blend together (but don't let your server mix it for you, because its better if you only mix half the sauce with the herbs). The caesar salad is decent. The mashed potatoes are good, so are the baked potato and sweet potato. They offer a special vegetable, like beets or asparagus, which is nice. And if you order blackberry iced tea, get unsweet tea and ask for the blackberry sauce on the side so you can flavor it yourself. The dining room and rest rooms are reasonably clean, and this place is really the only half-way decent steakhouse in the county. When everything goes right, you will have a five star experience... BUT The quality of service is very inconsistent. I don't discriminate against servers if they are "different", but service should be pleasant and efficient. They have some very obese female servers, whose fatness makes them come across as uncomfortable and putting themselves out as they huff and puff to bring your courses to you. I don't like having to feel sorry for the waitress as they struggle, and screw up your order. They also have some effeminate annoying male servers who simply talk too much, and act flirty to men. Just not appropriate to be flirty to either sex, and they can't take subtle cues telling them to shut up or get lost. A little training could help them. The cook never gets the level of doneness right. If you like your steak medium-rare, you better say "rare", because "medium-rare" to this cook means burnt and dry gray all the way through. If you order things like onions, they usually don't come out with your meal, but they'll bill you for it anyway, so check the bill. There seems to be much confusion in the kitchen regarding getting things right. A particularly annoying thing is that they keep the lights too dark, and the awful repetitive country music is way too loud, not only stinking obnoxiously but suppressing your conversation with your dining companion(s) and adding to the stress and general din of noise in the dining room. When I asked the server to raise the lights, she agreed, then didn't do it. When I asked again, again yes and again didn't do it. After the third time I gave up and had to use a pocket flashlight. I also requested that she turn the rotten blaring music down, or preferably off, since my party was pretty much the only people in the dining room at the time. Again, she said yes, but wouldn't do it. That is a problem in franchise restaurants that mindlessly follow a template. Yet oddly, sometimes on other days the lighting isn't too dark and rotten music noise level is tolerable. Another irritation is that when you order an upcharged blackberry iced tea, sometimes you get a big blackberry with your syrup and sometimes you don't. Don't ask for your missing blackberry, or you will be snapped at and lied to that they don't put actual blackberries in there. And forget about finding your server when you want them, because they hide in the kitchen or blab with other servers in the vestibule. This restaurant is best for a late lunch or very early dinner, when you at least have a chance at adequate service with less confusion.

Food was good, service wasn't bad.. pretty good as well. The only thing was, the place was busy and it felt cramped.

Food was really good. Server did not have much personality and definitely needs lesson in enthusiasm and hospitality. Decor and atmosphere was great. Guess that plus good food overshadows the guy we had waiting on us. Overall, good experience !!

been there twice in the last month. lousy service both times. took over twenty five minutes for soup and salad at lunch time and it wasn't very busy. don't go to this location. ordered white cheddar mushrooms for my dinner on another visit and they were late coming out after everyone else got their meals and were eating and the mushrooms weren't cooked at all -- melted cheese on raw mushrooms. only reason I gave it 1 star is because the app wouldn't let me give it none.
